Beginner Guide
Everything new players need to know before starting Phantom Blade Zero.
Essential Tips
1. Parry, Don't Dodge
New players spam dodge and get punished. Focus on learning parry timing first. Blue flash = parry.
2. Ghoststep for Red Flash
When you see red flash, dodge won't save you. Use Ghoststep (R1/E) to dash through unblockable attacks.
3. Don't Hoard Sha-Chi
Sha-Chi decays over time. Build it up, then immediately spend on heavy attacks or special abilities.
4. Start on Normal
Hard mode punishes mistakes severely. Learn the mechanics on Normal first, then switch to Hard.
